Collaboration · Design for Barnardo's
This is a collaborative project with Barnardo’s, a British children's charity. At the end of the project, we hold a public selling event, with all proceeds donated to Barnardo’s Children's Charity. The collection is created using materials found in Barnardo’s stores, and for my pieces, I have chosen to work with old toys. By dismantling and repurposing these toys, I’ve crafted a series of unique jewellery pieces.
Each piece in this collection offers four different wearables. The back of the jewellery features two buttons of different sizes, allowing it to be attached to the buttonholes of clothing. Additionally, a set of components has been designed to let the wearer transform the main piece into a ring, brooch, or necklace by connecting it to different attachments.
